As our name suggests, Brian Fisher & Sons is a family run company, which specialises in hand made curtains, blinds and soft furnishings, including headboards. Although Brian retired from the business a few years ago it was inevitable that his twin sons Stephen and Paul would take over the business as they had both grown up working in the firm.

The Company was set up by Brian nearly 25 years ago. Having worked in the soft furnishings industry for some time, he established a workroom to deliver only the finest handmade, hand sewn curtains and soft furnishings to his trade customers. Over the years Brian has built up an impressive network of contacts within the industry and has worked with many high-street retailers and famous interior designers.

At our workroom in East Anglia we have a skilled and highly conscientious team of more than 40 curtain and soft furnishings makers, some of whom have more than 30 years' experience and have been with us for many years. Although we do not claim to be the largest curtain maker in the country, we are surely one of the most dedicated and most respected, and our size is a real advantage. We are in the enviable position of being large enough to produce high volume, high quality handmade, hand sewn work but still small enough to provide personal service at every stage of the process.

Today Brian Fisher & Sons is seen by many to be the market leaders in the handmade hand sewn curtain and soft furnishings industry and we are continuing to invest in maintaining and enhancing our reputation. We have recently re-designed our website, moving away from our previous traditional look to a more contemporary styling, which reflects how we have evolved the business in the last few years. In 2009 the company also featured in two prime time television interior design shows - The Home Show and The Hotel Inspector, where we were asked to provide a selection of bespoke curtains, blinds and soft furnishings to fulfil a particular interior design brief. In addition, we are looking to continue growth in areas which are proving popular with our established client base, one of which is headboards. Brian Fisher & Sons offers a dedicated on-site service to supply bespoke headboards in any style, material and trim.

2010 will be an exciting year for Brian Fisher & Sons as we will be celebrating our 25th anniversary and we are keen to celebrate this landmark occasion.
